The KVRS President's role is defined as follows:

Representation at Rescue Council

Past President Kevin Lipscomb strongly recommends that his successors make every effort to attend the meetings of the Virginia Beach Rescue Council, which is the system's best forum for squad presidents.

Oath of Office

In the absence of a senior chief of the Virginia Beach Department of EMS, the President delivers the oath to squad officers.
